Salary: NJC Grade D - £24,702 - £26,421 FTE (This will be paid pro-rata to reflect hours and weeks worked)

Working Pattern: This is a permanent position working 32.5 hours per week, 39 weeks per year

Are you looking for a new challenge? The school is looking to appoint an enthusiastic Cover Supervisor from 1st September 2024.

This post provides a great introduction to teaching and learning and could be the gateway to a future teaching role. The post holder will be responsible for covering the absence of colleagues in order to achieve the highest possible standards. The successful candidate will be responsible for students’ behaviour, following Pilton protocols while they are undertaking the work to ensure a positive learning environment. The candidate must be able to establish and maintain effective relationships and communication with parents and students and will be required to work consistently, whilst recognising and responding to individual students’ needs. When not covering lessons, the postholder will also be able to support with pastoral duties within the Year 7 team.

You must have high expectations of yourself, your colleagues and your students and be committed to creating a stimulating learning environment which challenges everyone to achieve the highest standards.
